Mission Statement

The Larick Early Learning Center provides
high quality early learning experiences to prepare preschoolers for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Instructional Strategies

• Instructional strategies focus on teaching the whole child,  the domains of school readiness, and address all of the Iowa Early Learning Standards.
• Early literacy strategies are utilized to facilitate language, literacy and self-regulation.
• Instruction is based on thematic units and includes multiple opportunities for higher order thinking and problem solving.
• Preschoolers learn through play.  Interactive role play will be taught and supported throughout the day, centers, and in conjunction with the theme.
• Students enjoy weekly Bible stories, introductory Christian principles, and participating in community service projects.
